1. What data we store from Meta / Facebook
When you connect your WhatsApp Business number through our Facebook Login for Business (Embedded Signup) flow, we store the following Meta-related data on our servers:
- WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) ID — the unique identifier of your WhatsApp Business Account as issued by Meta.
- Phone Number ID — the identifier of your connected WhatsApp Business phone number.
- Meta Business ID — the identifier of your Meta Business portfolio.
- Access token — an encrypted API access token used to send WhatsApp messages on your behalf. This token is stored in encrypted form and is never exposed to end-users.
- WhatsApp connection status — whether your number is currently active or disconnected in the CRM.
- WhatsApp conversation history — inbound and outbound messages exchanged with your leads via your connected WhatsApp Business number, received through Meta's Cloud API webhook.
We do not store your Facebook personal profile data, Facebook friends list, Facebook posts, or any other Facebook social data. The only data we receive from Meta is what is listed above, and it is used solely to operate the WhatsApp Business integration inside the CRM.
2. How to request data deletion
You have two ways to delete your Meta-related data:
Option A — Self-service from within the app (instant)
- Log in to your Zygo Leads account at www.zygoleads.com.
- Go to Settings → WhatsApp.
- Click Disconnect WhatsApp.
- Confirm the action.
Upon disconnection, we immediately revoke our API access and permanently delete your WABA ID, phone number ID, Meta business ID, and the encrypted access token from our database. WhatsApp conversation history is deleted within 30 days.
Option B — Email request
Send an email to support@zygoleads.com with the subject line: Data Deletion Request — WhatsApp / Meta. Include:
- Your registered email address on Zygo Leads.
- The WhatsApp Business phone number you want disconnected (optional but helpful).
- Whether you want only the WhatsApp credentials deleted, or your entire Zygo Leads account deleted.
We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
3. What gets deleted vs. what we retain
When you request deletion of your Meta-related data, we permanently delete:
- WABA ID, phone number ID, Meta business ID — deleted immediately.
- Encrypted access token — deleted immediately.
- WhatsApp conversation history — deleted within 30 days.
- WhatsApp connection status and log entries — deleted within 30 days.
If you also request full account deletion, we additionally delete all lead data, property data, reminders, notes, and any other CRM data associated with your account — except records we are legally required to retain (for example, billing records required under GST law or the Income Tax Act, 1961, which are retained for up to 8 years).
4. Removing the app from your Facebook settings
You can also remove Zygo Leads (app name: zygobit App) from your Facebook account at any time:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find zygobit App in the list.
- Click Remove.
Removing the app from Facebook revokes Meta's permission grant but does not automatically delete data already stored on our servers. To ensure your data is also removed from our systems, please follow Option A or Option B in section 2 above, or email us at support@zygoleads.com.
5. Deletion confirmation
After we complete the deletion, we will send a confirmation email to your registered email address. If you submitted the request by email, we will reply to the same thread confirming that the data has been deleted and the date of deletion.
